A to Z with a little J

Jameson's nursery is finally complete!  I spent waaaay too much time on it but I am so happy with the outcome. I made a mural inspired by my bedding from Baby's R Us.  I drew the circles on the wall by making my own little compass using a T-Pin and string.  Then I hand painted the outlines and filled them in.  I used a polyurethane to make the glossy circles.  Then I took wallcovering and drew and cut out the giraffes and his name and pasted them up with wallpaper paste.  I have to thank Aimee Jackson with National Wallcovering for supplying the wallcovering for the giraffes. I also made the curtains...I was so excited to find a fabric that worked so well.

My amazing friends Sarah and Kyle Smidt took some amazing maternity photos for us during week 32 of my pregnancy.  Sarah and I met in 1st grade...we had the same dress :)  It was white and blue horizontal stripes with a breast pocket.  We thought it was way cool to wear it the same day and we quickly became best friends. Jameson is getting bigger!  If he was born today he would have an 80% chance of survival!  Let's not take our chances though...keep on baking little man :)

I told you there was something in there!  Check out how much I have grown since my 18 week belly pic!!  And NO I am not pushing it out!!!

I am halfway through my pregnancy today and we had our 20 week ultrasound today!  What a great birthday present for Zack...he officially gets to carry the Baird name on.  I just had a feeling it would be a boy.  I'm a little nervous though...I have no clue how to handle a boy!!  I've never changed a boy diaper...I am scared of those extra parts.  I guess I will be getting a crash course in 20 more weeks! There is no mistaking that picture! His perfect little hand...Hi Mom and Dad! Is it just me or does it look like he has big feet?

I promise there really is something in there!  Only a couple more weeks and we find out what it is :)

I can finally see a little bit of a baby bump!  I know people disagree but I can tell :)

Boy!  Well that is according to the Intelligender test I took this weekend.  The test is supposed to be like 80% accurate at predicting the gender but I'm not going to believe it until I see those extra parts at my 20 week ultrasound on August 19th.

I have been spotting so just to make sure everything is going okay we had our fist ultrasound today.  I was a nervous wreck...terrified that I wouldn't see that little flashing heartbeat on the screen.  Good news...the little bean is healthy as can be, it had a strong heartbeat and we are now officially due January 4, 2010!  I am 8 weeks and 2 days preggo:)
